Wrestlers & Parents,
While it is not currently mandated that a wrestler be treated by a Dermatologist, it is strongly recommended. In the past many Pediatricians have mistaken "diagnosed" ringworm and impetigo as a "rash" or "spider bite." While many Pediatricians will correctly diagnosis the skin infection, they may or may not prescribe the most efficient and/or effective cream or pill. Whenever possible we strongly recommend seeing a Dermatologist first.
