Head Coach: Tony Walters
Coach Walters wrestled his entire collegiate career at West Virginia University until graduating in 1994. As a graduate on Amityville High School he was a finalist in the Section XI tournament. He amassed 8 Gold Medals in the Empire State Games before seeking greater competition in the prestigious Wrestling Nationals in Las Vegas. In the summer of 2002 his unrelenting dedication to the sport of wrestling paid off when he achieved All-American status, fulfilling a lifelong goal. As a result of several injuries Coach Walters took a few years off from competition before returning for a last hurrah. This past summer he won his first, and only, National Championship in Greco-Roman and would follow that up with a silver medal in Freestyle. He has since retired from competition. Coach Walters has been at St. Anthony's since 1995, as an assistant, before taking the reins as Head Coach in 1999.
